Get Exclusive Access to my Bonus Fiction, Serial Content, and Early Access
I’ve moved my exclusive bonus fiction, early access, and serial content from Patreon to Ream Stories. This is where you can find early access (unedited) to my upcoming novels, updated every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. In addition, you’ll gain access to my quarterly bonus fiction (and the 12+ previous bonus fics already posted). Plus, the ability to vote on which couples you’d like to see featured next (and which character Q&As you want).
On top of all that, I’m currently running two serials which are also hosted on Ream Stories (see descriptions below).
Toil & Trouble (Chronicles of the Wardwell Coven #1) -Updated Every Monday
Pearl Wardwell left her four adopted sons two things when she died. The golden Victorian on the edge of Alamo Square. And a secret that’s been sealed away on the third floor for fifteen years, waiting for them.
Pearl’s sons couldn’t be more different. First, there’s Chase, whose mission in life is to ensure his brothers are fed and cared for, neither of which they make especially easy. And Brendan, who has no intention of staying for long. He wants nothing to do with his brothers. He certainly doesn’t harbor any notions about silly things like being a family. And then there’s Josh, the youngest. Idealistic and perpetually protected by everyone else, even Brendan. Though he’s an adult now, Josh has never stopped believing in magic.
And last, there’s Evan. He’s spent his life knowing two things. One, that as the eldest, he has to be the one to protect his brothers at all costs. And two, letting himself be loved—and definitely not by the homicide inspector with an uncomfortable amount of interest in the Wardwell family line—is a weakness he can’t afford. He’s about to learn that he’s wrong on both counts.
Because what the brothers discover in that third-floor room is magic. Real magic. And the moment they receive their powers, every evil creature in the city knows it. They’ll never stop coming. And the Wardwell brothers won’t stand a chance unless they learn to master their newfound powers — and even more challenging — how to be brothers again.
Toil & Trouble is the first book of Chronicles of the Wardwell Coven, an MM urban fantasy serial with a slow-burn romance. Expect chosen family, queer joy, plenty of magic, a sprinkling of eldritch terror here and there, and a smoldering romance that progresses over several books. Each brother will get his own multi-book arc, culminating in a happy ending across the series.
New chapters drop every Monday.
Out for Blood (Nightwalker Ranch #1) - Updated Every Friday
Tyler
My life at Nightwalker Ranch is simple. There are three rules I live by:
- Feed the vampires
- Don’t catch feelings for clients
- Do whatever it takes to collect the paycheck
It’s not as bad as it sounds. The ranch takes excellent care of its donors. It funds my education and management goes to great lengths to make sure the human employees stay safe, even while we’re satisfying inhuman hunger on a nightly basis.
Most of the clients are respectful and easily managed, two things I deeply appreciate in a vampire. Besides, even if it was awful, growing up in the foster system taught me that power is all that really matters. Money equals power, always. And the ranch pays me a lot of money for what I do.
So what if I keep everyone at arm’s length and I haven’t had a real boyfriend in… well, ever? My mother didn’t raise me, but if she had, she wouldn’t have raised a fool. I know a good thing when I see one. Apart from law school, the ranch is all I have. I don’t need anything else.
My life is clean and easy. Blissfully simple. Until, of course, I meet Leo.
Leo
Two hundred years ago, I was turned into a vampire against my will. My maker was bored at the time and thought she was doing me a favor by releasing me from the mortal coil. She’s had a change of heart over the years. Now she hunts vampires who have lost their humanity and protects the very humans she once preyed upon. To say that we don’t get along is an understatement.
This entire time, I’ve held onto my own humanity with an iron grip. I’ve gone to great lengths to never become her. But life as a vampire is a lonely thing. I’m not human, no matter how much I try to pretend I am. I don’t have many close friendships. And the risk of love across the centuries is getting your heart broken so many times you stop remembering you have one. I’ve stopped trying.
Then I meet Tyler. He’s dynamic, almost supernaturally hyper-observant, prickly, and underneath the cool and practiced façade, I’m pretty sure he’s even more wounded than I am. I’m immediately fascinated. In my two hundred years on this earth, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone quite like him. He might even be…
No. That’s a silly thing to even think, isn’t it? Fated mates are rare. That’s not what this is. I’m just lonely and imagining things. What I’m not imagining is the danger Tyler is in. Because another vampire out there is also entranced with him.
And if they can’t have Tyler, they’ll make sure no one can.
